Aviation In Action came from my very own photography page and now is a big part of my life with a group of people working towards the same goal. We now cover Aviation Photography, Videos, and live streams, streaming to the world on a regular basis. Aviation Is very much my passion and I support charities and the new generation who wish to become part of this great industry.

Ever since then, my life has revolved around aircraft and with over 15 years experience as an Avaition Photographer, I bring this experience and passion to my articles, some of which have been published in magazines and online media.

I’m AIA’s longest serving photojournalist with ample experience both in writing and photography. I was introduced to aviation at a very young age thanks to my Grandad who was involved with aircraft munitions at Hunting Engineering, that alongside travelling the UK together for various aviation events. The passion carried into my adult life where interests peaked for the military side of things. Now I travel the globe to tell unique stories about the aircraft, the men and women who fly them and of course the personnel who keep them in the sky. Much of my work has appeared in print for leading aviation media outlets, but ultimately telling the story of aviation professionals and serving personnel is where the rewards lie.

I’m one of the photographers and photojournalist part of the AIA team. I’ve had strong aviation upbring with the former RAF Sealand and Hawarden airport on my doorstep and going the old RAF Valley air shows some of my earliest memories come from the sounds of Tornado’s and Jaguar’s. For me my aviation photography and journalism comes from a deep place of passion of love, where in which I see the aircraft like living, breathing people. The deep rich history of aviation that’s continually growing keeps my passion burning weather it be a vintage biplane or the latest stealth fighter, I feel and find quirks and personalities within all. Having completed a photography degree both in BA and MA levels of photography at Nottingham Trent University, I’m wanting to push myself and the team as far as we can professionally within the photographic and journalistic world bring you the best, newest and highest quality of aviation media from around the world.

The better half to Lightweight Lee. We have 2 children, Hayden and Riley, dog called Jet and cat named Jazz. I joined the AIA team back in 2019 temporarily and have been stuck holding Darren's hand since. I am one of the moderators that you will see chatting on the livestreams. I mainly mod on Youtube, but sometimes cover Facebook when Shirley isn't about. I am also part of the media outreach team for Darren, along with Dave. My favorite aircraft is the Lancaster Bomber. I was in my element when the Canadians came to visit in 2014 and honestly believe that's when my love for aircraft really began. Make sure you say hello when we are live and help me give Darren all the grief we can!

I am a photographer, team leader, moderator for YouTube which Is where I got my nickname from and social media accounts manager for AIA. I joined AIA in 2019 and in that time we have achieved many great things already with some fantastic people along the way. I'm currently training to become a photojournalist to add another skill to my tree within our organisation. My hobbies include anything aviation related, and my favourite aircraft are Lancaster bomber, Vulcan, F22 , F16 and Typhoon. I got into aviation when I was still in secondary school where I did my work experience at RAF Coningsby working on the Typhoons. I have been hooked into aviation ever since. I'm very much into my football and support Newcastle United and like to attend matches as often as I can. I also like to give Daz a hard time like he does me.
